Binic Table Lamp

The Italians are known for their near-perfect designs of almost everything, including clothes, cars, and shoes. And they make great lighting too. The Binic table lamp from one of the country’s top brands, Foscarini, is a perfect example. Its form, the company says, “recalls the ‘wind socks’ that are used as ventilation systems on sailing ships.” Available in six colors, the piece has an ABS conical base and a shiny polycarbonate projector. It measures 7.9 inches tall, uses a 12-watt compact fluorescent bulb, and can be yours for $262.

  1. You can certainly see your skills in the work you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always follow your heart.

  2. Good Website! I wanted to ask if I could quote a portion of your web page and use a few points for a school assignment. Please let me know through email whether or not that would be fine. Thanks

    • Thank you for the kind words. i didn’t want my blog to be another opinionated snark fest. I do write my opinion in some cases, but i interview people and do research as if i’m writing one of my feature stories in my day job.

  3. Thank you for the kind words. I wish i could take the credit, but i can’t. I used one of the existing designs from wordpress. I think it was misty look or something like that. I like the fact that it’s very clean.
