Tennessee woodworker Barry Shields' Star Trek Enterprise NCC 1701-C Coffee Table was one of the most-trafficked posts on this site in 2012, and was published as Made in Sector Zero-Zero-One in MAKE Vol 31. Now he's followed on (and outdone himself, I think) with this X-Wing version. Shields, father of two, works as a technician by day, and builds furniture nights and weekends in his Dad's antiques restoration shop.
